Dating back  to ancient times\, Midsommardagen marks the longest day of the year and welcomes back warm weather.\n\n\n\nEnjoy traditional Swedish music\, group folk dancing\, hands-on activities\, arts and craft fair\, demonstrations by artists\, and\, in the center of it all\, the Majst ng/Midsommarst ng (May/Midsummer Pole)\, freshly decorated with spring greenery.\n\nBring your picnic lunch and blanket to enjoy on the museum grounds. Note: No alcohol is allowed on the museum property.\n\nSwedish meatballs\, ice cream\, and cold beverages will be available for sale.\n\n\n\nSchedule of Events:\n\nHistoric Buildings Open to the Public from 10 am-1 pm and 3-4 pm\n\nArts and Craft Fair from 10 am-4 pm\n\nDemonstrations by Artists 10 am-4 pm\n\nButik (Gift Shop) Open from 10 am-4 pm\n\nHands-on Activities for People of All Ages from 10:30 am-12:30 pm\n\nMusic by Scandia Community Band from 12:15-1 pm\n\nRaising of May/Midsummer Pole at 1 pm
