DESCRIPTION:Parent/Community Symposium ~ Attention Parents! \n\nThe Chisago County Sheriff's Office has partnered with the Chisago Lakes School District\, Lakes Area Police Dept. and the Minnesota BCA for an educational evening covering topics that are affecting our youth. \n\nThere will be 3 breakout sessions covering these topics:\n\n1.) Sextortion: This session will be hosted by the MN BCA Sex Trafficking Unit and Chisago County Sheriff's Office Forensic Investigators.\n\n2.) Drugs and Vaping: This session will be hosted by the East Central Drug Taskforce and your local School Resource Officers.\n\n3.) Mental Health: This session will be hosted by Therapeutic Services Agency (TSA).\n\nThe target audience for the event is parents/caregivers of middle school through high school aged children. However\, all are welcome.\n\nChildcare will be provided onsite (children must be potty-trained). \n\nCome for one session or stay for all 3. Each session will run approximately 45 min with a 15 min Q and A session at the end. \n\nThere will also be various community resource agencies/programs set up with informational booths.
