A premier destination, in Lindstrom with a 20 year history, this unique art gallery and gift shop has alot to offer with nearly 6,000 square feet of gallery space. Glädje, rebranded in 2022 from the name Gustaf's Up North Gallery to refresh and set this business apart from Gustaf's on Main Eatery. In Swedish, Glädje means 'delight' and in Norwegian it means 'joy'. There is something for everyone in this delightful space.
The art gallery houses 68 Local professional artists, including paintings, drawings, photography, pottery, glass, furniture, sculpture and fiber arts. Original artwork and gifts for every budget. Home decor and gifts are imported from Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland following the sustainability mission. Professional custom picture framing, art restoration, preservation services and design services plus installation are a huge part of Glädje. If you're interested in learning visual arts, a full running classroom and studio room is offered with classes scheduled weekly. Private lessons are also offered in nearly all mediums. Glädje has rentable spaces for events and host special events for local authors, musicians, education and entertainment throughout the year, including artist demonstrations, Art On the Block art fair and Scandinavian Christmas market.
