About Us

Women's Environmental Institute (WEI) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that operates the Amador Hill Farm & Orchard, a 40-acre certified organic farm. WEI's farm programs include Community Supported Agriculture (CSA), which provides weekly veggie boxes to Chisago County residents and beyond; Veggie Rx, a partnership with M Health Fairview that delivers 100 weekly boxes of farm-fresh organically grown produce to local medical clinics; the North Circle Online Farmers Market, and farm volunteer and workshare programs.

WEI also offers a variety of classes and training to rural and urban communities, leads numerous environmental justice initiatives, and operates a FarmStay program for people to stay overnight on the farm to explore the land and learn more about our mission. WEI also hosts numerous free annual farm events open to the public.
