Chisago Lakes Area Compost Site
Residents within the city limits of Chisago City, Lindstrom, Stacy & Wyoming may compost leaves, grass clippings, and brush three days a week at no charge. Non-city residents from Chisago Lake Township, Franconia Township, Center City and Shafer may also use the facility.

The compost site is open (as weather permits):
Wednesdays from 2 pm to 7 pm (or until dusk in the Fall)
Saturdays from 9 am to 4 pm
Sundays from 1 pm to 4 pm

The facility is located at the Chisago Lakes Joint Sewage Treatment Plant Site off County Road 24 at:

Fees/Admission
Non-residents will not be charged any fees for the 2022 season. Fees will resume in 2023.
