Highlights

In 1948 Swedish author Vilhelm Moberg visited the Chisago Lakes Area while researching his acclaimed book series:
Moberg wrote The Emigrants, Unto a Good Land, The Settlers and Last Letter Home.
The Friends of the Karl Oskar House mission is to "Preserve, share and celebrate Swedish Immigration and Culture.
