During this special hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to make a colorful flower wreath using dried flowers grown at WEI’s own Amador Hill Farm. These wreaths are a beautiful memento of summer’s abundance and can adorn your home all year long. All proceeds from this class go to WEI’s Education Program Scholarship Fund.
The day begins with a tour of the flower farm and insights into plant varieties and best practices to grow, harvest, and dry this specialty crop. The class includes lunch provided by WEI – an autumn stew, homemade bread, and farm-grown vegetables. After lunch, we’ll gather in the Dome for a demonstration of wreath-making techniques, and each participant will have the opportunity to design and make their own wreath to take home.
All are welcome – WEI classes are open to everyone.
